A road is a type of building in The Settlers of Catan and all expansions, extensions, and variants.
Basic Function[]
A road is built using 1 Lumber and 1 Brick and is always placed on an unoccupied side of a hex, connected to another road, settlement, city, or metropolis. Although roads do not provide victory points, they are crucial for advancing in the game because new settlements can only be built next on an intersection adjacent to a road.
